Formed in 1939 by Mr B.W. Brazier, Brazier New Homes initially traded as B.W. Brazier Anerley Limited. Named after the original offices situated in Anerley.

The company continued operating as general builders, but subsequently after the war, moved into repair, it was in this form that the company continued to trade until the later 1940s. Thereafter the company relocated its head office to their current premises in Hextable and moved into private house building.

B.W. Brazier Anerley Limited was a traditional family run estate developer of the post war era, building quality family homes throughout North Kent and what is now termed SE London.

To this day there are examples of many B.W. Brazier Anerley Limited homes in all corners of Kent and skirting the south east of England.

The success of the post war era culminated with the outright winning of house of the year in 1957.

Since the company's formation, in excess of 3000 properties have been built each bearing the uniqueness of a Brazier name.

1993 saw the death of Mr B.W. Brazier and the business being passed onto Peter Brazier, B.W. Brazier’s son, who as well as being a director of B.W. Brazier Anerley Ltd, had been enjoying an equal degree of success on the East Kent coast with his own speculative building company. P.J. Brazier Limited since 1965.

To this day Peter Brazier remains as Chairman and continues with an active role in the company.

In 1997 a major reorganisation of the business resulted in a change of senior management and a review of the company’s development philosophy. This rationalisation and modernisation of the company structure saw the embracement of a new corporate identity that focused on the development of prestigious homes in desirable locations.

The company’s main aim and objective is to maintain the excellent reputation it has established in combining more than 60 years of experience by incorporating the best of the building industry's current technology to provide distinctive homes of high quality and developments which offer exclusivity.

The Brazier ethos of achieving real quality in the most attractive locations remains a priority for each and every development.

In order to achieve this objective, Brazier New Homes continues to concentrate its land acquisition programme in the most desirable areas of Kent. Now continuing this philosophy as further expansion provides additional opportunities in South East London and the close borders between Surrey and Sussex.
